Pickup is from your building or hotel in Dubai Marina. The route takes Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) south and then Emirates Road (E611) southeast toward the Lahbab desert region, approximately 55 kilometres from the Marina.

Desert temperatures between 15°C and 30°C make this the most comfortable period for evening safaris. Sunset colours are vivid, and evenings at camp are genuinely pleasant. Advance booking is strongly recommended — demand is highest during this period, particularly over the winter months when Dubai Marina hotels are at full occupancy.

Daytime temperatures exceed 40°C but evening safaris departing after 4 pm remain fully viable as the desert cools quickly after sundown. Summer brings lower prices, smaller group sizes, and better availability. Dubai Marina has a high number of summer visitors and long-stay residents who find this an ideal time to go.
